FAQ
Answers for your tab workflow
Quick details about transcription, playback, exports, and billing.
What does every upload produce?
Every upload produces bass, lead-guitar, and rhythm-guitar tabs. NoteNav uses the current bass v3 and guitar v2 models for every build.
How does the free preview work?
Creating a track automatically starts a synchronized preview for the first 90 seconds. It does not use credits.
What does a full build cost?
The first successful full build costs 10 credits and permanently unlocks free rebuilds after track information changes. If a paid build fails, NoteNav refunds that charge.
Can I change tunings and capos?
Yes. NoteNav suggests bass, lead, and rhythm settings from the title and artist. Open the advanced section before building to review or override them.
What can I export?
The synchronized player includes a client-side GP7 export. NoteNav does not create game packages or downloadable source-audio bundles.
What audio works best?
MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A, and AAC are supported. A clean lossless mix usually gives the transcription models the best input.
